| PH CONTROLS: To grow healthy fish, it is essential to measure buffering and pH levels periodically and add buffer, pH increasing salts, or pH reducing salts as needed. Our test strips simultaneously measure pH, buffering capacity, and nitrite levels. A 20 oz bottle of buffer treats 5000 gallons, a 10 oz bottle of pH reducing salts treats 10,000 gallons, and a 16 oz bottle of pH increasing salts treats 5000 gallons. High nitrite levels are symptomatic of inadequate filtration.
